Happy New Year everyone!!!
Now that New Year celebration is over, I am sure that most of us will get common reaction when we go back to our respective offices and schools. Thanks to the Christmas and New Year holidays and celebration for the additional weight gained. We forgot the diet and because foods are available everywhere during the holidays, we can’t help but to eat and eat until we become unconscious of our bodies.
The first thing that we want to do this new year is to get our body back to shape. Here are the three most effective tips that you can try to get your body shape back:
1. Do your old dieting technique
If you are on a diet, I am sure you have your own methodologies and techniques to plan your diet. Weight gain is inevitable especially during New Year and Christmas, but if you have an effective dieting technique, you can always recycle the steps and do it all over again. If you’ve managed to stay on shape using your diet, you can still use it even after weight gain. So, recall your dieting technique and redo it this New Year. This is the time of the year wherein you need it the most.
2. Exercise More
Exercise to maintain body shape is different than exercise to lose weight. If you used to exercise 30 minutes a day, three times a week just to maintain your body shape, you might need to do it double to lose some extra pounds. You can go back to your old exercise routine after you have achieved the right weight for you.
Discipline is still the best thing you should impose to yourself to get your body shape back. Sometimes, getting fat is not enough motivation for us to do diet and exercise. In the first place, if you have discipline for yourself, you don’t need to enforce yourself to double your effort to diet and exercise because you watch and weigh what you are eating, so there’s a slim chance to gain weight and lose your body shape.
